Visit the Daintree, Cape Tribulation, River Cruise
Leaving town around 9:15am and heading north to the Daintree River and beyond, this tour is a great day out with a late start and includes all the usual Deluxe Safari attention to detail but with a more affordable price.
Itinerary:
9.15am
Meet tour guide at accommodation.
9.40am
Commence journey up to the Daintree Ferry and on to the Alexander lookout. Be mesmerised by the spectacular vista views over the mouth of the Daintree River. Enjoy morning tea in an enchanting rainforest setting. Its then on to Cape Tribulation and the ‘Maja’ Mangrove Boardwalk, where you will discover the incredible wonders of this sensitive eco system.
12.00am
Light luncheon in the rainforest.
1.00pm
You will also cruise the Coopers Creek “one creek/one boat”. This journey will also take you to Jindalba “old growth” forest. Spectacular coastal scenery will have you on the edge of your seat while you search for the elusive cassowary, rare birds, plants, tree snakes and of course the estuarine crocodile.
3.00pm
Head home returning at approximately 4:00pm.
